Hazel C. (Caspelich) Regidor

Hazel C. Regidor, 89, of Elba Alabama, passed away on April 18, 2025, at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation. Born on October 30, 1935, in the Philippines to Gasper and Dolores Caspelich, Hazel developed a deep love for cooking Filipino cuisine and graduated from high school before embarking on a life filled with love and creativity.

In her 28 years of marriage to Bonifacio Regidor, Hazel embraced her heritage as a proud blend of Filipino and American cultures. She was known for her passion for family and her talent in the kitchen, often preparing delicious meals that brought loved ones together. Hazel also had a gift for painting, with a special fondness for capturing the beauty of nature on canvas.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Bonifacio, and her son, Leo Regidor. She is survived by her children, Marilou Regidor, Eloisa Regidor (Randy Caldwell), Francisco Regidor (Mari Chu), Eva Yap (Michael), Ella Almanzor (Nelson) and Jessie Regidor (Hazel). Siblings Herbert Caspelich (Willie), Virgie Bainto (Winston), and Gertrude Caspelich.22 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and the lessons she imparted.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Elba Elementary School, 145 Tiger Dr., Elba, Alabama 36323. Hazel will be lovingly remembered and honored through cremation.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
