Hal Wilson

Hal L. Wilson passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at his home in Elba AL surrounded by the love of his family. He was 72 years old.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

He was born on August 23, 1952, in Deland, FL. Hal was the son of the late Vallie E Cox (Sanford, FL) and Harry R Wilson (Pierson, FL). He and his loving wife, Vivaka, were married for 37 years. A resident of Elba, AL for the past 4 years, he had previously resided in Sanford, FL. Hal was employed in the auto parts sales industry for over 40 years eventually retiring after relocating to Alabama. He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be forever missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Vivaka, he is survived by two children, Bryan (Yoquenna) Wilson of Ormond Beach, FL, and Ashley H Wilson of Sanford, FL. Five grandchildren, Nicholas, X’Zander, Julian, Zayden, and Villiam, sisters, Joy (Frankie) Serena, and Robin Kim Holland, both of Sanford, FL, nephews and a niece. He is preceded in death by his sister-in- law, Twila Polachak, and brother-in-law, James Leonard Holland.
