Gloria Rana Brown

Gloria Rana Brown passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Medical Center Enterprise. She was 55.

A memorial service will be held via Zoom on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2:30 pm. Please contact a family member if you would like connection details.  A family burial will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Pleasant Rest Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.

Gloria was born October 8, 1965 in Enterprise, Alabama to James Arthur and Gloria Carlisle Brown. She was a devoted mother who lovingly cared for her son Michael Alexander. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved to share the good news of God’s Kingdom with others. Her favorite place to be was at the beach with her family. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed. In addition to her father, one daughter, Shontell Brown preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Michael A. Brown of Enterprise; her mother, Gloria C. Brown, of Enterprise; three brothers, Michael Purnell Brown, Brennon R. Brown, Jamien Brown, all of Enterprise; one sister Tesiar Lassiter (Beau) of New Brockton; nieces and nephews: Michael P. Frazier, Mahogany Brown, Miles Lassiter, Claire Lassiter; aunts: Cora Newton, Vivian Carlisle, and Patricia Quicksey as well as numerous cousins and friends.
