Gladys Ann Welch

Gladys Ann Welch of Chancellor, Alabama passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 75.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Gladys was born November 11, 1947 in Illinois to the late Elmer and Dorothy Meisel Goetz. She worked for 42 years in the Enterprise City School System before moving to the central office until her retirement in 2010.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed attending each and every event her family was involved in. In addition to her parents, her husband, Lewis C. Welch, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children: Mark Welch (Amy), Melissa Dixon (Jody), Michael Welch (Kacy); one sister, Nancy Noack; eight grandchildren: Mark, Megan, Allen, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Carlis, Evan, Carson; great-grandchildren: Avery, Bentley, Hudson, Everly, Joseph. In lue of flowers donations may be made to Day Springs Hospice Foundation
