Gisela Margarete (Hammer) Spreeman

Gisela Margarete Hammer Spreeman of Enterprise, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2023 in Dothan, Alabama. She was 94.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Gisela was born July 8, 1929 to the late John and Katharina Duemke Hammer. She had a passion and love for her animals that matched no other.

Survivors include her husband of 75 years, Frank Spreeman; children: Marcia Varney (Richard); Lawrence Spreeman (Grethe); brother, John Hammer (Virginia); three grandchildren; two great- grandchildren.

While flowers are welcome, the family also asks for donations to be made to SOS Animal Shelter at 25944 AL-134, Enterprise, AL 36330.
