Franklin Faulk

Mr. Franklin Faulk of Enterprise, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the age of 89.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Pastor Jim Duhaime officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am and continuing until service time.

Franklin was born May 28, 1935 in Rhine, Georgia, to the late Lester Franklin and Corine Cook Faulk. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Faye E. Faulk (Ashurst), and sister, Fern Faulk Dorminey.  Franklin enjoyed being with family and friends, working outdoors, watching old westerns and sports.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Faulk (Shirley) of Jesup, Georgia, and Tim Faulk (Yvonne) of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Rachel Hannah Faulk and Rayna Heather Faulk; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Samaritan’s Purse.
