Emma Ann Herrington

Emma Ann Herrington of Coffee Springs, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. She was 79. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Asbury Cemetery with Reverend Terry McCrummen officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing. Emma was born September 22, 1939 to the late Edwin and Ruby Jeter. She is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.  She worked in education with the Coffee County School System for over 30 years, beginning with Goodman Jr. High School. Survivors include, her husband of 58 years, Royce Herrington of Coffee Springs, AL; daughter, Terri Herrington of Enterprise, AL; son Michael Herrington of Coffee Springs, AL; brother, Ira Lee Jeter (Annette) of Montgomery, AL; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Kim Davis, Wilbur Hall and Van Marshall. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the “Happy Hour” friends on Friday afternoons at Gloria’s Beauty Shop with special friends, Gloria and Terry McCrummen.
