Eloise "Ann" Adams Smith

Eloise “Ann” Adams Smith of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022. She was 73.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend James Kilpatrick officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of service.

Ann was born in Covington County, Alabama on September 14, 1948 to the late Austin and Lillie Carter.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, James “Buck” Adams, husband Douglas Smith, two sisters, and two brothers.  Ann was always a mother first, loving her children and grandchildren dearly.  She also enjoyed going to flea markets, antiques, music, and traveling.

Survivors include her children, Mike Archie (Lee) of Luverne, Bruce Archie (Don Smith) of Enterprise, and Kim Bennett (Robert) of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Austin, Jonathan, Tyler, Megan, Morrigan, and Andrea; two brother; two sisters; and special friend, Parker.
