Elma Lou Heath

Elma Lou Heath of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Dothan, Alabama. She was 86.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Sonny Moore officiating. There will be no graveside services. In honor of Lou’s wishes, the family asks that you dress in pink or other bright colors to honor her. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 12:00 pm and continuing until service time.

Elma was born May 21, 1939, in Mountain City, Tennessee, to the late Andy and Maude Neva Garland. She was a longtime volunteer for the Red Cross as well as a dedicated volunteer at Fort Rucker. In addition to her parents, her husband, Herman Stanley “Stan” Heath, and one son, Buddy Allen Heath preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracey Renee Rauer (Scott) of Huntsville, Alabama, and two grandchildren, Ella Lou Rauer and Heath William Rauer.
