Ellen Minnie Lee Shipman

Ellen Minnie Lee Shipman of Daleville passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019. She was 63. Memorial service will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Community Church of God with Reverend Johnny Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing until time of service. Ellen was born June 15, 1955 in Enterprise, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurthur Lee and Ellen Nora Sconyer and one brother. She was a member of Christ Community Church of God in Enterprise, AL. Survivors include her husband of 25 years, John Shipman of Daleville, AL; son, Wayne Key, Jr. (Danielle) of Copperas Cove, TX; daughter, Chitinia Key Cannon (Sam) of Chancellor, AL; son, Christopher Key (Keeta) of Killeen, TX; son, Patrick Key (Brittany) of Daleville, AL; sister, Patricia Hornsby of Charlotte, NC; brothers: Isacc Hornsby of Tampa, FL and Tony Ray Sconyer of Samson, AL; grandchildren: Jayren T., Josiah K. and Emmanuel M. Key, Krishonda and Michael Miles, Deshawn and Terrence Cannon, Alyxus, Jada and Dominik Key and Ava Grace Key; four great-grandchildren: Tao Key, Michael Miles, Jr., Amariah and Levi Darden Key; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family; lifelong friend, Wayne Key of Chancellor, AL; Lysandra Kilow of Daleville, AL and Tony Key of Columbus, GA .
