Elbert Short Elenburg

Elbert “Short” Elenburg, of Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away Friday, May 12, 2023. He was 84.

Funeral Services will be Monday, May 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Amy Parrish, and Patrick Dyess officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at 1:00 p.m.

Elbert was born March 30, 1939 to Robert Elenburg and Mae Sasser. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one daughter Jennifer Barnett ( Russell) of Coffee Springs, Al, two sisters Jean Mock of Hacoda, Al and Joann Fink of Florala, Al., one granddaughter Amber Lashier ( Matthew), one great granddaughter Finnley Lashier, numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Southern Care Hospice, especially nurses Fawn Hackman and Wendy Classen.
