Edward Strops, Jr.

Edward Strops, Jr. of Daleville, Alabama, passed away January 1, 2023, in Dothan, Alabama.  He was 66.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with John Logsdon officiating.

Edward was born July 21, 1956, in Brundidge, Alabama, to the late Edward Berry and Gussie Faye Farmer Strops.  He was a truck driver for Phat Daddy Trucking with over 46 years of driving experience.  In addition to his parents, one sister, Jeanette Strops, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Debbie Strops; son, John Edward Strops; daughter-in-law, Nicole Lynn Strops; daughter, Amber Nicole Hicks son-in-law, Richard Allen Hicks; five brothers; four sisters; and ten grandchildren.  He is also survived by his in-laws, John and Regina Roe.
