Earl Ray Layton

Earl Ray Layton, fondly known as Ray, was born on October 22, 1992, and passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 32.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Geneva First Assembly, with Pastor Ali Harrison officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise will be directing. Services will take place at 2 PM and the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Ray had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in camping and fishing. He had a particular fondness for spicy snacks, especially Takis and Fritos Fire. Music was a significant part of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife, Shannon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Layton Jr., and his grandfather, Jim Layton Sr.

Ray is survived by his wife, Shannon Brown Layton, and his mother, Mary Ann Layton.
