Dredge Lee Cone, age 85, passed away on April 25, 2026.

He was born on September 11, 1940, in Miami, Florida.

Dredge was known as a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. Over the years, he worked a variety of jobs, but spent much of his career in maintenance at a bakery, where his strong work ethic and dependability were evident to all who knew him.

He had a vibrant personality and truly enjoyed being around people. Dredge loved drama, had a fantastic sense of humor, and never met a stranger. He especially enjoyed making others smile and was well known for his playful spirit, including his fondness for flirting and bringing laughter to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Nan Cotton Cone, as well as his brothers, Carl Cone and Aaron Cone.

Dredge is survived by his children, Ricky Cone and wife Lisa, Heidi Clark and husband Ray, and Wendy Toso and husband Gary. He is also survived by his brother, Marshall Cone, and his sister, Mary Cone. His legacy continues through his five grandchildren, Brittany, Christi, Josh, Celina, and Christian, and his three great grandchildren, Alythe, Abby, and Landon.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Dredge will be remembered for his hard work, his humor, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him.
