Dorothy Sue Sanders

Dorothy Sue Storey Sanders, of Mobile, AL, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018. She was 81. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise. Burial will follow in New Brockton City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until the time of service. Dorothy was born November 2, 1937, in New Brockton, AL to the late Max and Lera Storey. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Storey and late husband, Charles Cooley. She had a strong work ethic, enjoyed reading and attending church, loved her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include sons: Donnie Sanders of Dothan, Doug Sanders (Beth) of Mobile, AL and Jeffrey Lee of Mobile, AL; brother, Mike Storey (Tina) of Clayhatchee, AL, sister Lynn Golden of Eufaula, AL; three grandchildren: Kevin, Katie and Misty and three great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Covenant Hospice.
