Doris G. Tisdale

Doris G. Tisdale, age 81, of Opp, Alabama, passed away June 16, 2025, at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Doris was born in the Babbie Community on August 27, 1943, to the late Jim Cletus and Minnie Viola Griffin. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Nettie Griffin, Minnie Taylor, and Andrew Taylor.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Hinton Tisdale; children, Hinton Tisdale, Jr. “Woody” (Judy) of the Cedar Grove Community and Teresa Faye Lee (Joe) of Opp; grandchildren, Clint Tisdale, Jim Tisdale, Lee Edgar, Keith Edgar, and Joy Lee; and 14 great-grandchildren.
