Doris Jewell Dean

Doris Jewel Dean of Goodman passed away Tuesday August 11, 2020. She was 81.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until time of service.

Doris was born March 7, 1939 in Bellwood, AL to the late Charlie and Estele Dean. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.  She lived in Goodman with her son, Carl and his family, Michael, Connie, Maralin, Caden and Anthony.  She lived a happy life and always had a smile on her face.  She loved God, her family and friends and was loved by all.  She was truly an angel on Earth.

She is survived by her brother, Wayne Dean (Vertie) of KY; children, Carl McKenzie of New Brockton, AL, Faye Tubre of Deatsville, AL, Susie McKenzie of Daleville, AL and Charles McKenzie (Ann) of Enterprise, AL; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
