Donald B. Clegg

Donald B. Clegg Sr., aged 87, passed away on December 31, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Linda Jean Clegg, and his parents, Howard and Margaret Clegg. Donald was also preceded in death by his brothers, Howard and Eddie.

Born on June 23, 1937, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Donald proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator. He had a passion for golfing and was an avid supporter of Florida State University, even naming one of his dogs Bobby after the famous coach. He also cherished his dog, Allie.

Donald is survived by his sons, Donald Clegg Jr. (Janet) of Orlando, FL, and Shane Clegg (Melanie) of Dothan, AL; his daughters, Kelly Renfrew (Chris) of Lutz, FL, and Candy Nichols of Quarterlane, ID; and his beloved fur baby. He is also survived by his sister Kathy Hawkins. He leaves behind grandchildren Adam Clegg, Bryan Clegg, George McCrea, James Eddington, Alisa McCrea, Cameron Clegg, Shaina Clegg, Devon Hazim, Morgan Nichols, Megan Nichols, and Megan Waybright along with great-grandchildren Jolene, Roman, Aubrey, Avery, Jayda, Devyn, Casey, Abigail, and Sage.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to express sympathy consider making a donation to the Enterprise Lions Club Wounded Warrior Project at PO Box 310598, Enterprise, Alabama 36331.
