Diane Prokey Siniard

Mrs. Diane Prokey Siniard passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 57.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Diane was born October 29, 1968 to the late Lawrence and Sharon Brinson Prokey in North Carolina.

Diane was a woman who found joy in many of life’s simple pleasures and who loved deeply and wholeheartedly. She had a curious spirit and a love for learning about the past, spending countless hours reading and researching genealogy. She especially enjoyed discovering the stories and connections within her family history and preserving those memories for generations to come.

Diane also had a lifelong love of horses and horseback riding. She treasured the time spent around horses and the peace and freedom that came with riding. Her adventurous side could also be seen in her love of ghost hunting, an interest that allowed her to explore the unknown with curiosity, excitement, and a sense of fun.

She was also proud to have served with the New Brockton, Alabama A-Club, where she was involved in her community and enjoyed being a part of something larger than herself.

Above all, Diane cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her family was the center of her world, and the memories she created with them will be treasured forever. Her kindness, adventurous spirit, love of history, and willingness to pursue the things that interested her made her a truly special person whose absence will be deeply felt.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Siniard; children: Michael, Samantha, Joshua, and Stefanie; two grandchildren.
