David Michael Mcvay

David Michael “Mac” McVay, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022.  He was 62.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Wekiwa Springs Baptist Church, in Apopka, Florida, with Dr. Paul Howell officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise serving the family.  Mac loved to fish but anytime he had a fish on the line there would not be a feast, they had “too much in common” and they would be released.

Mac was born November 13, 1959 in Fresno, California to Curtis Charles and Julia Adeline Platt McVay.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother: Julia Platt McVay; sister: Julia Howell (Paul) of Apopka, Florida, children: Kelly Bonnell (Trevor) of Ocala, Florida, Justin Bennett (Brittany) of Spencer, New York, Curtis McVay (Erin) of Apopka, Florida, Angela Bryant of Enterprise, Alabama; and his grandchildren: Cohen, Corbin, Connor, Julian, Jackson, Kylie, Christopher, Edmond, Brylee, and Kai.
