Darwin "Larry" Adkinson

Darwin “Larry” Adkinson of New Brockton, Alabama, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at his residence.  He was 81.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Larry was born November 19, 1941, in Alabama to the late Zaff and Hillary Hudson Adkinson. He worked for over 57 years as a Lead Aircraft Mechanic. Larry loved restoring and selling cars, but most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceeded in death by his wife, Carol Adkinson, and sisters, Mona Adkinson and Rita Williams.

Survivors include his children, Tracey Adkinson Miller and Darin Stacy Adkinson (Laura), both of New Brockton; and grandchildren, Briana Adkinson, Bradley Adkinson, and Cory Adkinson.

In celebration of Larry’s life, a memorial fund will be established at Troy Bank & Trust, 1030 Boll Weevil Circle, Enterprise, AL 36330.
