Cynthia Ann Mitchell Douglas

Ms. Cynthia Ann Mitchell Douglas, 66, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at her residence.

Born on August 29, 1959, in Dothan, Alabama, Cynthia was the daughter of the late Wallace Wade Mitchell and Juanita Kirkland Mitchell. She dedicated much of her working life to caring for others as a Mental Health Technician in the healthcare field. Her compassion and willingness to help those around her reflected the caring nature she carried throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Wallace Wade Mitchell, Jr.; sister Pamilla Mitchell; and other loved ones whom she held dear.

She is survived by her three sons, Robert Douglas (Heidie), Shawn Douglas, and Derrick Douglas (Taylor); her mother, Sybilla Mitchell; one brother, Steven Mitchell; one sister, Myra McCloud; seven cherished grandchildren; along with numerous extended family members and friends who will remember her with love.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. At the request of the family, no public services will be held.
