Curtis Leon Martin

Curtis Leon Martin of Elba, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Curt leaves behind his beloved fiancée, Carol Flach; one son, David (Jeannine) Martin of Barnhart, Missouri; two daughters, Nichole Martin of Barnhart, Missouri and Kelly (Tim) Davis of Harrison, Michigan; and five grandchildren, Kierstin (Jared) Haring, Isabelle Martin, Victoria Martin, Corbin Davis, and Weston Davis.

Curtis was born on February 20, 1954, in Elmwood, Illinois. He is proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa Martin, and his parents, Elvira Marie Wherley and William Clyde Martin Jr. Curtis was a dedicated member of local 837 machinist Union in St. Louis, Missouri for 25 years.

Curtis led a very active social life. He loved dancing at the local dancehall and was a sport enthusiast who loved the MLB St. Louis Cardinals.

Curt left cherished memories in the hearts of his many friends. He will be missed.
