Coolidge Maxwell Dowdle, Sr. of Daleville passed away Monday, April 20, 2020. He was 92.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Coolidge was born April 20, 1928 to the late Charlie and Hattie Dowdle. He was preceded in death by his son, Adam David Dowdle; two brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Roberta Dowdle of Daleville; sons, Charles A. Dowdle (Amy) of North Carolina, Michael C. Dowdle (Kristen) of Arkansas, Coolidge Maxwell Dowdle II of Daleville, AL, Jonn T. Dowdle of Daleville and David S. Dowdle of Daleville, AL; daughter, Heather M. Dowdle of Level Plains; adopted son, Robert Bennett and four grandchildren.
