Connie Lynn Phelps

Mrs. Connie Lynn Phelps, age 71, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away on June 15, 2026, in Enterprise.

Born on July 5, 1955, in Mobile, Alabama, Connie was the daughter of Don Witherington and Ann Reed Witherington. She spent many years working in the insurance industry, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.

Connie shared 32 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Michael Phelps. Together they built a life centered on love and commitment. She will be remembered for her caring spirit and the many lives she touched throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Phelps of Enterprise; her brother, Donny Witherington and her sister, Cheryl W. Walker; and other extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

The family has chosen cremation and will hold private services at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SOS Animal Rescue at 25944 AL-134 Enterprise, AL 36330, a cause that was meaningful to Connie.

The family would like to express their gratitude to SouthernCare Hospice and the caregivers who provided comfort and support during Connie’s final days.
