Clara Jean (Ward) Jones

Clara Jean Jones, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 81.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 4232 Stephenson Road, Coffee Springs, Alabama 36318 with Paster Donnie Earles officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until service time.

Clara was born October 12, 1942 in Geneva County, Alabama to the late Grover C. and Clara Vee Baine Ward. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and was the family historian. She loved her flowers, country music and gave life to her family. In addition to her parents, her husband, Roy E. Jones; brothers, Jimmy Ray Ward, and Donald Ray Ward all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her chidren Donnie White (Louise), Vicky Mace (Kenneth), Christopher White (Wanda), Samantha Owens (Kenneth), Dustin Jones, Calvin Jones; siblings, James Ward, Eddie Ward, Terry Ward (Denise), Patty Horne (Mark); grandchildren: Crystal Sutherland (Cory), Andy Ingalls (Trela), Whitney Lewis (Shane), Emily Teeter (Michael, Jr.) Matt Ingalls (Kat), Brandon Lawson, Lucas Williams; thirteen great-grandchildren.
