Clara Hodge Brown

Clara Hodge Brown of Chancellor, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 64.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Philip Box officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until the time of service.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jerry Brown; mother, Jerlene Minks; daughter, Brandy Sue Peeples (Joe) of New Brockton; James Oneal Brown of Chancellor; siblings, Jack Hodge of Clayhatchee, Bonnie Caldwell of Ozark, Sherry Hood (Kenny) of Clayhatchee, and Ross Minks (Mariah) of Andalusia; six grandchildren, Devin, Annie, Savannah Joe, Payton, Colton, and Emily Grace; brother-in-law, Cecil Junior Brown (Martha); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clara was born August 21, 1958.  She was preceded in death by her father, L.C. Minks; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cecil Oneal and Jeanette Brown.
