Christopher Kyle Turner

Christopher Kyle Turner of New Brockton passed away on June 11, 2019.  He was 24. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with his great-uncle, Reverend Robert H. Creel and grandfather, Reverend Roy Turner officiating. Burial will follow in McGee Cemetery in New Brockton with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until time of service. Kyle is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph T. Pouncey. He was of the Christian faith.  He enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for basketball. He is survived by, his father, Chris Turner (Stephanie) of New Brockton; mother, Laurie Heaslip Turner of Panama City Beach, FL; paternal grandparents, Roy and Ann Turner of New Brockton; maternal grandmother, Linda Annette Brunson Pouncey of New Brockton; brother, Tanner Monaghan of Scottsville, KY; sister Kaitlin Turner of Panama City, FL; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Flowers will be accepted.
