Charlotte "Nana" (Dunn) Lassiter

Charlotte “Nana” Dunn Lassiter, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on February 1, 1948, in Troy, Alabama, Charlotte devoted her life to serving Jehovah and lovingly caring for her family; affectionately known as “Nana” to her loved ones. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on October 19, 1962

Charlotte was a legendary cook, renowned for her delightful banana pudding that brought joy to countless family gatherings. Her warm hospitality and love for cooking created cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew her. A passionate animal lover, she dedicated herself to serving others even writing letters to encourage others from the scriptures and making the world a better place.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Blanche Dunn, and her sister, Ann Dunlap.

Charlotte is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Kenneth Lassiter, and their three children: Ben Lassiter (Amanda), Mandy Owen (Kevin), and Beau Lassiter (Tesiar). She also leaves behind her siblings: Tony Dunn (Connie), Sue McCraney, Sammy Dunn, and Rachel Baker (James), along with four adoring grandchildren: Kyle Owen, Kaleb Owen, Miles Lassiter, and Claire Lassiter.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Enterprise at a later date.
