Cathy Delong Gwinn

Cathy DeLong Gwinn, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was 64. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, February 12, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am and continuing until service time.

Cathy was born March 1, 1959 in Texas to the late WD and Catherine Shotwell Lacy. She loved the outdoors as well as traveling which was prominent by the frequent camping trips she would take with her husband.  Gardening, motorcycle riding, and listening to live music were among some of her favorite hobbies, but the most enjoyable were the many games of pool that she would play with her husband, Leroy.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy Gwinn; children: Nathan DeLong (Kara), Chase DeLong (Mari); two sisters, Cindy Espy, Carol George; three grandchildren: Zeli, John Luke, Brady.
