Catherine "Cathy" Rickmers

Catherine “Cathy” Rickmers, loving wife, mother of three, and grandmother to seven, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the age of 82.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 am on March 19, 2022 at Christ the King Lutheran Church of Enterprise, Alabama.  Flowers will be accepted or cards may be sent to 5648 Highway 27 Enterprise, Alabama.

Catherine was born October 6, 1939 in Yonkers, New York, to Thomas and Ella (Brue) Carney.  On August 29, 1959 she married the late Edward Rickmers.  Together they raised three daughters, Donna, Catherine, and Mary.  She was a kind woman who enjoyed crafting, quilting, and sharing coffee with a good friend.  She loved spending time with family and watching her grandchildren grow up.  Catherine was known to many for her sense of humor, unique accent, and her giving nature.

Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Thomas; mother, Ella; and her husband, Edward.  She is survived by her daughters, Donna Banchi (Harry), Catherine “Cassie” Wilkerson (Anthony), and Mary Johnson (George); and her grandchildren, Mark (Kristen), Caitlyn, Douglas (Taylor), Raeven, Samantha, Michael, and Kaylee.
