Carolyn Sue Mims

Carolyn Sue Mims, of Daleville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family. She was 74.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 12, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm and continuing until service time.

Carolyn was born August 16, 1949 in Alabama to the late Jack Shelby and Alma Flower Reeves. In addition to her parents, one daughter, Alma Mims; daughter-in-law Tammy Renee Mims; two grandsons, Glen Mims and Brandon Mims all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children: Estella Bogden (Ed), Winford Mims (Mandi), Shelby Mims, Justin Dewayne Mims, Blake Mims; siblings, Shirley Shaw, Leo Reeves; grandchildren: Thomas McNair, Cassandra Norris (Riley), Amber Gastelum (Juan), Trey Mims, Carol Perkins, Adrian Hobson, Ashlynn Mims; eighteen great-grandchildren.
