Brittany Faye Dakota Taylor

Brittany Faye Dakota Taylor passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Ariton, Alabama. She was 22.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Derek Snellgrove officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, 774 County Road 223, New Brockton, Alabama, with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.

Brittany was born February 13, 2003, in Alabama. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Elaine Taylor and Linda Taylor. Brittany was vibrant and full of life to all who knew her. She was happiest when she was hanging out with her friends, playing video games, listening to music, or with her beloved animals.

Survivors include her son, Carson Michael Smith of Ariton; father, Willie Taylor, Jr. of Ariton; mother, Heather McDonald; siblings, Harley McDonald, Leah Talley, and Logan Talley; grandfather, Willie Taylor, Sr.; grandmother, Brenda Kay Starboard; PeePaw, John Starboard; aunt; Linda Taylor (John Motley); uncle Brandon Roggow (Maria); and niece, Aria Renee “Toot” Saffold.

Although Brittany’s life was taken much too soon, her memory will live on forever in the lives of those she touched, as she was loved by so many.
