Bobby Ray Henderson

Mr. Bobby Ray Henderson, of Daleville, died on April 25, 2024 at Flowers Hospital.  Bobby was 77 years old.

Funeral services will be at 2PM on Sunday April 28, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Layton, Reverend Tony Bradley and Friend Freddie Shehee officiating.  Interment service will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends from 1PM until service time.

Bobby was born July 16, 1946, in Coffee County Alabama, to Tommie and Remae Henderson who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister Christine Henderson Davidson and his brothers Hasten Henderson and Wilmer Henderson.

He was a great craftsman, who enjoyed working with his hands; especially wood and metal working.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years Sara Henderson and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
