Betty Jo (Newsome) Elliott

Betty Jo Newsome Elliott, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at her residence surrounded by family. She was 61.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Matt Jordan and Reverend Steve Reneau officiating. Burial will follow in Enterprise City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm and continuing until service time.

Betty was born June 27, 1962 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Rex Brown and Minnie Tindol Newsome. She was a member at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, one brother, Fred Newsome, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Robert B. Elliott; one daughter, Angelica Webb (Joel); loving cousin, Mark Mills; best friend, Judy Bundy.
