Betty L. Hudson

Betty L. Hudson of Enterprise, AL passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019. She was 95. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Park Avenue Baptist Church with Reverend Leon Adams, Reverend Danny Bynum and Rex Bynum (eulogy) officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing until time of service. Ms. Hudson was born July 14, 1924 in Geneva County, Alabama to the late James and Pearl Bynum. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Joe R. Hudson; infant twin sons, Jack and Jerry Hudson; son, Keith Hudson; three brothers: Jack Bynum, James Bynum, Jr. and Larry Bynum; and three sisters, Bernice Motley, Peggy Deal and JoAnn Bynum. Ms. Hudson was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She enjoyed playing dominoes and working in her yard. Survivors include daughter, Karen Miller (Jerome) of Enterprise; three sisters: Nell Adkins, Mavis Lolley and Mazie Newsom, all of Enterprise; four grandchildren: Clint Parrish (Christian), Devin Thornton, Shea Nelson (Matt) and Hunter Hudson (Anne-Marie); and five great-grandchildren: Jill Cruz, Landon Parrish, Hudson Thornton, Sky Nelson and Henley Hudson.      The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Enterprise Health and Rehab and Southern Care Hospice, especially Renee and Anne-Marie, for their loving care given to Ms. Hudson.
