Betty Jean Hudson

Betty Barnes Hudson , of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 81.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in New Brockton, Alabama, with Reverend Cliff Quincey officiating. The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise prior to the graveside service on Saturday, October 11, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am and continuing until service time.

Betty was born was October 22, 1942, in Alabama to the late JB and Willie Pearl Holmes Barnes. In addition to her parents, her husband, Robert Hudson; one daughter, Christina Smith; two brothers; and one sister all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Michael Smith, John Hudson, Anita Zumbach; three brothers; one sister; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
