Benny F. Strawder

Mr. Benny Frank Strawder, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. He was 79.

Memorial services honoring the life of Mr. Strawder will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Royce Morrow officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm and continuing until service time.

Benny was born February, 3, 1945, in Alabama to the late Ray A. and Eva Reynolds Strawder. He had a love for the open road and worked many years as a truck driver for AAA Cooper before his retirement. Benny also protected and served his country in the National Guard. In addition to his parents, his loving wife, Martha Ann Strawder, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Ronnie Strawder (June), Nikki Strawder, and Tommy Byrd (Paula); one brother, Charles Strawder; grandchildren, Ronnie, Heather, Beth, Lane, and Justin; as well as five great-grandchildren.
