Barbara Pike

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our mother, Barbara Ann Pike, age 60, of Enterprise, Alabama, on May 22, 2025.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Barbara was born May 25, 1964 in New Hampshire. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children, Bonnie St. Hilaire and Nicholas Allen King; and grandchildren, Jaden and Autumn St. Hilaire, and Makayla and James King.

She was not only a mother but grandmother and friend but also a pillar of strength, grace, and kindness to her community.

Barbara was diagnosed with both breast cancer and brain tumors.

During that time, she underwent a double mastectomy as well as Chemotherapy and  Radiation treatments. However, Barb was a fighter who had faith in God and thought she would win this. Unfortunately, the cancer kept coming back not once or twice but three times.

She finally succumbed to her battle on May 22, 2025. God took her home. No more pain or suffering.

“Barbie,” as she was known to most of her friends, had a big heart and loved to help others, even when she had nothing to give. She traveled to help others during many of our nation's natural disasters with FEMA, helping others in distress. I know she blessed not only her immediate community but also touched the lives of many people from different cultures, countries, and ethnic backgrounds with the groups she was associated with.

Even during the end, she was still making items for other cancer patients much like herself to keep hope alive as many had done for her.

Barbara loved to live life in the moment. They considered her a “Girly Girl” who loved clothes and accessories. She had a great love for the beach, travel, music, and any kind of fun she could have. She loved crafting, being a part of a woman’s group, and her small church family.

I want to say a huge thank you to all the angels involved during this process who helped her in life and during this process of helping her to obtain care and getting her back and forth to treatments.

As we begin to navigate life without her, we are facing the unexpected and overwhelming costs associated with her sudden unexpected passing. We are reaching out to our community for support during this incredibly difficult time as she had no life insurance. Any donation, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden and allow us to give her the peaceful farewell she deserves. You can donate at gofundme.com by searching "Help Us Honor Barbara’s Brave Battle After Breast Cancer."

If you are unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this campaign and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers means the world to us.
