Annette Ronnie Tibbets

Mrs. Annette Ronnie Tibbets passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Southeast Health in Dothan surrounded by her family. She was 84 years old.

Memorialization will be cremation with no services at this time.

Annette was born in San Francisco, California, on March 31, 1941, to the late Raymond and Rhoda McLaren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Guy Eugene Tibbets, Sr.; son, Guy Eugene Tibbets, Jr.; one brother; and five sisters. Annette devoted her life to her family, creating a solid home for her children and husband, and they knew how much she loved them. She leaves a legacy of stability and commitment that continues in the lives of her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Pollyann Ortez (William) of Opp, Alabama; three grandchildren, Tina Walls (Brandon), Amy DeShazo (Adam), and Lisa Riley (Wesley); and five great-grandchildren, Liam Walls, Caroleine DeShazo, Jaxton DeShazo, River Riley, and Boston Riley.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Southeast Health CCU as well as the Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation, who gave Annette such compassionate and excellent care.
