Annette Tidwell (Sexton) Sims

Annette Tidwell Sims, of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family. She was 85.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, January 5, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until service time.

Annette was born April 10, 1938 in the Fairview Community in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Tump and Pearlie Mae Sexton. In addition to her parents, her husband, Ralph Sims; son, Eddie Tidwell all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children: Rose Maddox (Phil) of Eufaula, Alabama, Larry Tidwell of Enterprise, Alabama, Danny Tidwell (Brenda) of New Brockton, Alabama; grandchildren: Donnie Maddox (Melissa), April Smith (Brandon), Ashley Huffman (Ken), Brittany Tidwell; great-grandsons: Dallas Maddox of Oregon, Tucker Maddox of Kansas, Jacob Smith of Elba, Alabama; sister, Faye Edberg of Paris, Tennessee; niece, Tracy Whitehead of Paris, Tennessee; nephew, Donald Edberg of Atlanta, Georgia.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Donnie Beagles, Donnie Maddox, Ken Huffman, Cody Price, Joe Guyett, Ernie Rawlings.
