Mrs. Amparo Cecilia Romo Romo of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Friday, February 21, 2025. She was 63.

A funeral mass will be at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father John Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.

Amparo was born July 23, 1961 in Pasto, Colombia to Jose and Maria Romo. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her husband, Alejandro F. Rivera; children: Diana Cordoba, Laura Romo; step-daughter, Alessandra Rivera; father, Jose Romo; siblings: Adiela Romo, Liliana Romo, Maria Isabel Romo, Jose Romo, Henry Romo, Jairo Romo, Maria Eugenia Romo; grandchildren: Valerie, Camille, Sophie; step-grandchild, Madison Reed.
