Alice Howe

Mrs. Alice Howe, age 77, of New Brockton, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Flowers Hospital surrounded by her family on January 19, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receve friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Alice was a nurse for over 40 years, with 30 of those years of service at Medical Center Enterprise. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for 55 years, a member of the 3-Seasons Garden Club, and a member of First Baptist Church in New Brockton. She enjoyed china painting, reading, family, and Auburn sports. Alice loved being a mom and grandmother!

Mrs. Alice was born November 19, 1945, to the late Bertram and Mary Woodin Duncan. Alice is survived by her husband of 58 years Frank Howe, her daughter Michelle (Dennis) Griffin of New Brockton and her son Frankie (Janet) Howe of California. Grandchildren Preston (Carolyn) Griffin, Grant (Madi) Griffin, and Ryan Griffin.
